Its 50 plus miles of trails are great for hiking, biking, or just a leisurely stroll. Fun for the whole family can be found at any of Arlington’s parks, nature preserves, tennis courts, 6 golf courses, athletic/activity centers or even pontooning on Lake Arlington. To support this critical foundation, the City strives to provide diverse ways to come together through common interests or life’s simpler activities. The Arlington community enjoys walkable neighborhoods, playgrounds, parks, activities and events like story time at area libraries. These community assets bring everyone together with accessible options for all.

With more than half a million items in the collection, the texts, technology, and additional resources available in the Arlington Public Library provide our community with expansive options and opportunities. From the traditional books to the host of online collections and digital tools, our library serves the modern world with timeless consistency.
