Apply for Arlington EDC’s Next Round of Industry-Specific Cohorts

February 9, 2026

The Arlington Economic Development Corporation (EDC) is launching its next two free, four-week cohort programs designed to support entrepreneurs at different stages of business development. The Food & Beverage Cohort and Ideation Cohort provide targeted, practical support to help participants strengthen operations, refine ideas and plan for sustainable growth.

Food & Beverage Cohort

The Food & Beverage Cohort is for independent food entrepreneurs and restaurant owners navigating the challenges of operations, staffing, customer experience and profitability in a highly competitive industry.

Participants will engage in interactive sessions focused on operational discipline, financial awareness, customer experience and long-term sustainability. The program is delivered in partnership with Chick-fil-A, whose operators will share insights on culture, customer service and operational excellence, alongside restaurant consultants and industry experts offering guidance tailored to independent food businesses.

Ideation Cohort

The Ideation Cohort is designed for aspiring entrepreneurs with a business idea who want to explore how to turn that idea into a viable business. This program supports individuals in the early concept stage who need clarity and structure before launching.

Through hands-on, interactive sessions, participants will learn how to validate their idea, identify target customers, develop a basic business model and create a clear plan for next steps. The cohort emphasizes building a strong foundation and reducing early-stage risk.

Supporting Business Growth in Arlington

These cohorts are part of the EDC’s ongoing commitment to fostering entrepreneurship and small business success in Arlington. By offering focused programming for both early-stage ideas and established businesses, the EDC continues to strengthen the local business ecosystem.
