Business Facilities announced its 2025 Deal of the Year and Impact Award winners — corporate relocation and expansion investment projects that will have a significant positive impact on the economic development of a community.
The City of Arlington and the Arlington Economic Development Corporation’s West Airport Development & E-Space North American Headquarters project was recognized as a 2025 Impact Award-winner in the Space Industry category. The project will create over 2,000 high-wage jobs, implement key public infrastructure to maximize potential impact and help position Arlington as a hub for aerospace research and development.
Each year, the entries for Business Facilities’ Deal of the Year Awards reflect developments and trends for companies across a wide array of industries, and the top projects recognized this year reflect the resurgence in manufacturing investments, underpinned by the continued expansion of technology advancements. The top four Deal of the Year Awards — Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze — reflect strengths in each of these factors. Meanwhile, the Business Facilities Impact Awards focus on a specific area of impact that a corporate relocation or expansion project has had, or is expected to have, in the communities in which they are located.
The project entries submitted by economic development organizations and site selection consultants are evaluated by a panel of judges and Business Facilities editors, with a focus on factors that include capital investment, job creation, innovation, and impact on communities.
The complete list of Business Facilities 2025 Deal of the Year and Impact Award-Winners is on their website, and project write-ups will be featured in the January/February 2026 issue of Business Facilities.
