The E-Space North American headquarters project won in the Industrial development category at the 2026 Dallas Business Journal (DBJ) Best Real Estate Deals Awards on April 23. Caravan Court Hotel was also named a finalist in the Hospitality category.

E-Space manufactures low Earth orbit satellites, aiming to create a satellite network that will connect Internet of Things (IoT) devices across the globe. The project, which will bring more than 2,000 high-wage jobs to the city, involves the construction of a 480,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility, airport access road and over 33,000 sq. ft. of hangar space at the Arlington Municipal Airport.

The Arlington Economic Development Corporation (EDC) will develop and own the property, leasing the space to E-Space. The airport access road will add increased connectivity to the recently opened MLK Drive, implementing key public infrastructure to maximize potential economic impact. The project broke ground in fall 2025 and is anticipated to be completed in spring 2027.

This year’s DBJ Best Real Estate Deals included 58 finalists, selected by a judging panel of industry experts. Now in its 34th year, the awards program has honored over 600 projects across the North Texas region.
