Stephanie Hall Appointed Operations and Events Administrator for Arlington EDC

September 12, 2024

Stephanie Hall has been named as new operation and events administrator of the Arlington Economic Development Corporation (EDC). Hall began in her new role on Sept. 3, 2024.

"I am very pleased to welcome someone with the level of economic development experience that Stephanie Hall has maintained for the past 8 years with the City of Farmers Branch,” said Marty Wieder, executive director of the Arlington EDC. “She managed their department and tourism budgets—and welcomes the opportunity to take on a first-ever task like our new operations and events administrator position.”

Most recently, Hall oversaw economic development and tourism at the City of Farmers Branch, where she managed their Façade Grant, Demolition Rebuild and Neighborhood Renaissance programs involving multiple real estate purchases, among other duties. For the past decade, she has honed her skills in areas of housing opportunity, redevelopment, incentive deal points and business retention.

Also crucial to the role is Hall’s extensive experience in event management, including work with commercial realtors at Younger Partners and with Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld.

“I’m thrilled to be a part of a growing team that aims to expand the City’s portfolio of business retention, support small business growth, engage in transformational redevelopment and continue to bring entertainment and other amenities to our community,” said Hall. “I’ve heard about the American Dream City for a long time, and now I have the opportunity to be a part of it.”
