Texas Health Resources, headquartered in Arlington, ranked No. 18 among large organizations promoting positive work environments in Dallas-Fort Worth, according to The Dallas Morning News.
Texas Health, a 12-time winner, was ranked among 40 large companies. The Top Workplaces D-FW 2024 recognition celebrates 150 businesses that are contributing to the North Texas business environment by creating strong work cultures. This is the 16th year for the competition.
“We are proud to be recognized for creating and sustaining a workplace where our employees can thrive and grow while they care for North Texans,” said Barclay Berdan, FACHE, Texas Health’s chief executive officer. “We celebrate and thank our team members, the physicians on the medical staffs, and our volunteers who are working together to build healthy communities.”
The Top Workplaces D-FW 2024 list includes separate rankings for large, midsize and small companies. Organizations were evaluated based on employee surveys. Survey questions included topics such as confidence in company leadership, how management develops people, pay, work-life balance and benefits.
“We are proud to be recognized for our efforts to create a range of benefits and resources that help our employees do their life’s best work at Texas Health,” said Carla Dawson, chief people officer for Texas Health.
Texas Health offers a generous 401(k) program with match, paid time off, competitive benefits plans and wellness programs and paid parental leave for new mothers and fathers. Texas Health has also created pathways for employees to further their education and professional development, including tuition reimbursement, student loan repayment and leadership development.
